Abstract:

One aspect of the invention relates to a device for producing a liquid foodstuff, into which device a capsule can be inserted in a receiving chamber. A fluid supply of the device is provided to the capsule, by means of which supply a fluid can be introduced into a chamber of the capsule transversely to the vertical extension of said capsule.
