Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to make it possible to twist together a plurality of electrical wires as quickly as possible. This device for producing a stranded electrical wire twists together a plurality of electrical wires and is provided with: an electrical wire intermediate holding section that movably holds an intermediate section of a plurality of electrical wires in the direction of extension thereof in a fixed arrangement state along the direction of extension; a stranding rotation drive section that rotationally drives the electrical wire intermediate holding section; and a stranding movement mechanism that causes the electrical wire intermediate holding section to move toward one end or the other end of the plurality of electrical wires from the intermediate section in the direction of extension thereof while said electrical wire intermediate holding section is rotated by the driving force of the stranding rotation drive section.
