Abstract:
The invention relates to an industrially applicable device for reading out a test kit for detecting biomarkers, e.g. for detecting biomarkers in human and/or animal stool. The device is designed and intended for objectifying the qualitative and/or quantitative detection of the biomarkers. In particular, the invention relates to a device in which a test strip of an immunochromatographic detection method is inserted in a fixed manner. The test strip is illuminated by more defined illumination devices and the light reflected from the surface of the quick test strip is recorded by a more specific sensor. A precise read-out of the displayed test result takes place using a special illumination and read-out method.
