Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for receiving at least one occupant (17.2) and/or piece of luggage (17.1) in a vehicle. The invention additionally relates to a method for operating such a device (1). According to the invention, the device (1) has a first guide (2), and the first guide (2) allows a delay- and inertia-induced translational movement of the device (1) along an x-axis of the vehicle. The device (1) has a second guide (3), and the second guide (3) allows a delay- and inertia-induced rotational movement of the device (1) about a y-axis of the vehicle.
