Abstract:
The present application provides a device recognition method and a device, applied to a first device. The first device and at least one second device form a device group. The method comprises: sending a first request to at least one second device; within a first preset duration, if response information of the second device to the first request is received, respectively obtaining a first arbitration factor of a first device and a first arbitration factor of the second device; comparing the first arbitration factor of the first device with the first arbitration factor of the second device; and determining, on the basis of a comparison result, whether the first device is a group owner of a device group.
