Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to: accurately evaluate, on the basis of subjective symptoms relating to discomfort in the left and right pharynx reported by a cold syndrome positive person (P) and the surface temperature of the dents at the base of the left and right earlobes measured on the cold syndrome positive person (P), whether the cold syndrome positive person (P) is a true positive person; and report the evaluation result to provide reference information referenced when determining dosage or an instruction for the respective cold syndrome positive person (P). This device for screening a cold syndrome positive person (P) comprises a dent-at-base-of-earlobe-temperature measurement means (1) having a right temperature measurement unit (2) and a left temperature measurement unit (3), a dent-at-base-of-earlobe-temperature-difference calculation unit (4) for obtaining the differential value between the right dent-at-base-of-earlobe-temperature measured by the right temperature measurement unit (2) and the left dent-at-base-of-earlobe-temperature measured by the left temperature measurement unit (3), a left-and-right discomfort input unit (5) for inputting right discomfort information and left discomfort information relating to discomfort in the left and right pharynx felt by the cold syndrome positive person (P), a left-and-right discomfort computation unit (6) for obtaining the degree of match between the right discomfort information and the left discomfort information, an evaluation unit (7) for outputting severity information on the basis of the obtained differential value and degree of match, and a reporting unit (8) for reporting the severity of the cold syndrome positive person (P) on the basis of the severity information.
