The present invention belongs to the technical field of energy environments. Disclosed are a device for selectively removing CO and a use method therefor. Two device main bodies are symmetrically arranged. When one of the devices realizes saturated adsorption, a desorption program is started and the other device is selected for further adsorption, thus improving processing efficiency. Energy for CO desorption is provided by a catalytic combustion process of a portion of a hydrogen-rich gas to be processed and air, and no additional heat source is required. Desorbed CO is subjected to a catalytic combustion reaction in catalytic combustion chambers, and released energy provides energy for further desorption, said reaction having a product of CO2 and causing no pollution to the environment. An air feeding chamber, a catalytic combustion chamber and a CO reaction chamber are interactively arranged and have a compact structure while ensuring more sufficient gas and heat exchanges. Heat exchangers are arranged at combustion tail gas outlets connected to the catalytic combustion chambers and may fully recycle waste heat in tail gases, improving an energy utilization rate to the maximum extent.
