Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for the storage, collection and dispensing of coins (11, 12, 26), comprising at least one magazine for the controlled reception and storage and controlled return of the coins and an overflow for the dispensing of coins with a full magazine into a collector container (24). An additional storage chamber (45) is provided for the controlled reception of coins inserted during an insertion process as an alternative to reception in the magazine and for controlled dispensing of said coins from the one insertion process either to the return device or to the collector container. During normal operation the coins are preferably introduced to the magazine and, on a fault in the magazine, to the storage chamber.
