Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for the suspended transport of flat workpieces, in particular metal sheets or sheet bars. Said device comprises a frame, a number of driven conveyer belts which are retained on the frame in such a way that they can be displaced transversally in relation to the direction of transport and at least one retaining device for the flat workpieces which is allocated to the conveyer belts and operates along the length of the transport path. The invention is provided with a guide which extends substantially in a transverse direction to the direction of transport and on which at least one section of the conveyer can be retained in a mobile manner. At least one manipulator for displacing and positioning the conveyer belts is allocated to the guide. Said manipulator replaces the conventional spindles that are currently used to adjust the conveyer belts and enables said conveyer belts to be displaced and positioned in a constructively simple manner.
