Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first UE may receive, from the second UE, configuration signaling for sidelink communications with the second UE. The configuration signaling may indicate a discontinuous reception paging cycle and a temporal offset value. The first UE may monitor for and detect a wake-up signal from the second UE according to the discontinuous reception paging cycle. The first UE may monitor a paging occasion for a set of data packets transmitted from the second UE, based on the discontinuous reception paging cycle and the temporal offset value. In some aspects, the configuration signaling may be transmitted over an radio resource control message or a media access control-control element.
