Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for treading a vulcanised tyre carcass with a raw running tread comprising a mounting rim (6) for said carcass, an elastic annular mould (7) whereof the circumferential outer surface is covered with an elastic sleeve (16), the mould being designed to mould the raw running tread (3), the device comprising two elastic rim flaps (8, 9) designed to cover respectively a sidewall of the assembly consisting of the formed outer casing covered by the mould (7), the peripheral end with the largest diameter (82, 92) of each flap (8, 9) bearing a rigid annular element (33) for being linked to the sleeve (16) covering the mould (7).
