The invention relates to a device (24) for welding a portion of a flexible container (2), the device (24) comprising: - a tray (25) for receiving the container to be welded (2), - a welding device (26) configured to switch from one of the following states to the other: an open state wherein the portion of the container (2) to be welded is placed in the welding device (26) without being clamped, a clamping state wherein the portion of the container (2) to be welded is clamped, and a welding state which comes after the clamping state wherein the portion of the container (2) to be welded is welded, and - an actuating device (27) configured to actuate the welding device (26) at least from the clamping state to the open state without passing through the welding state and from the clamping state to the welding state.
