Abstract:
In a device (100) for winding off a sheet material, a sheet material (6) is wound off from a roll core (1) by rotating a support shaft (3) which supports a roll (2) formed by winding the sheet material (6) around the roll core (1). At this time, tension in the winding-off direction is applied to the sheet material (6) by a tension generation part (5). When the winding off of the sheet material (6) is stopped, the movement of the sheet material (6) is stopped with the sheet material (6) sandwiched between a first hold-down part (11) and a first stage (14) which serve as a travel control means, and thereafter the rotation of the support shaft (3) is stopped to thereby stop the rotation of the roll (2). Consequently, when the winding off of the sheet material (6) is stopped, the tension applied to the sheet material (6) by the tension generation part (5) exerts no influence on the roll (2). Thus, tight winding of the roll (2) caused when the winding off of the roll-shaped sheet material (6) is stopped can be prevented.
