Abstract:
A device for vaporising insect repellent; the device comprising a reservoir and a wick having a first end located inside the reservoir and a second end located outside of the reservoir; wherein the wick is configured draw a liquid from the reservoir via a capillary action; the device further comprises a heater located proximate the second end of the wick, the heater configured to heat the wick to vaporise the liquid from the wick; wherein the second end of the wick is moveable relative to the heater or the heater is moveable relative to the second end of the wick from a first position to a second position to vary a proportion of the wick proximate to the heater; the heater is arranged so that when the wick is in the first position the second end of the wick is at a first distance from the heater and when the wick is in the second position the second end of the wick is at a second distance from the heater; wherein the first distance is greater than the second distance to increase a difference in vaporisation in the first position relative to the second position.
