Abstract:
This diagnosis assistance device comprises: a processor; and a memory connect to, or built into, the processor. The processor acquires a target image, which is a medical image for diagnosing a disease; extracts a plurality of anatomical areas of an organ from the target image; inputs images of the plurality of anatomical areas into a plurality of feature quantity derivation models prepared for each of the plurality of anatomical areas; outputs a plurality of feature quantities for each of the plurality of anatomical areas from the feature quantity derivation models; searches for a similar image to the target image using the plurality of feature quantities; and outputs a similar image.
