Abstract:
This diagnosis assistance device is provided with a processor. The processor acquires a first ultrasound image generated by an ultrasonic module, and switches between a first operation mode and a second operation mode in accordance with whether or not reference information is synthesized in the first ultrasound image or whether or not the first ultrasound image is an image obtained in an auxiliary image mode, or in accordance with a setting value for specifying the image quality of the first ultrasound image, in which the first operation mode is such an operation mode that a specific region is detected on the basis of detection assistance information produced using a second ultrasound image obtained in a main image mode, and the second operation mode is such an operation mode that a specific region is detected but a result of the detection is not output or a specific region is not detected.
