Abstract:
A diagnostic device and a diagnostic method for determining the state of an accumulator are disclosed. The diagnostic device, which is installed in a construction machine provided with a cylinder operated to move up or down by the flow of oil and a boom driven by the cylinder, comprises: an accumulator for accumulating oil; a sensor provided at an input terminal of the accumulator and measuring the pressure of the accumulator; an LA valve provided on a line through which oil flows from the cylinder to the accumulator, and controlling the flow rate of oil charged into the accumulator; a hydraulic motor provided on a line through which the oil charged into the accumulator is discharged into the oil tank, and controlling the flow rate of discharge of the charged oil; and a control unit which controls the charging and discharging of oil by using the LA valve and the hydraulic motor and diagnoses the state of the accumulator by comparing the precharge pressure of the accumulator and a preset reference precharge pressure.
