Disclosed are a dialog agent dialog leading method and apparatus for knowledge learning. The dialog agent dialog leading apparatus for knowledge learning, according to one embodiment, comprises: a necessary knowledge search unit for searching for necessary knowledge, which should be additionally acquired inside a knowledge base with respect to a dialog subject identified from the utterances of a user; and a knowledge acquirement unit, which learns new knowledge from the answer of the user according to a question to the user on the basis of the necessary knowledge through a system question generation unit, so as to expand the knowledge base on the basis of the learned knowledge, wherein knowledge can be extracted from the answer of the user in response to the question.
