Provided are a diaphragm and a sound production unit. The diaphragm comprises a diaphragm body, a fixing portion and a corrugated rim portion, wherein the fixing portion is arranged at the periphery of the diaphragm body; the corrugated rim portion is connected between the diaphragm body and the fixing portion; the corrugated rim portion comprises a first corrugated rim and second corrugated rims, the second corrugated rims being arranged adjacent to the first corrugated rim, at least two second corrugated rims are provided, the first corrugated rim protruding towards one side of the diaphragm body, and the second corrugated rims protruding towards the other side of the diaphragm body. The sound production unit comprises a magnetic circuit system and a vibration system, which comprises the diaphragm. A corrugated rim comprises a first corrugated rim and at least two second corrugated rims, the protruding direction of the first corrugated rim and the protruding direction of the second corrugated rims being respectively located on opposite sides of the diaphragm body, and by means of such a configuration, the diaphragm has an increased effective radiation area, and achieves better matching between a total stiffness coefficient and a force-electricity coupling coefficient, so as to reduce distortion.
