Provided in the present utility model are a diaphragm and a speaker. The diaphragm comprises a dome located at the center position, a folded ring part provided surrounding the outside of the dome, and a connecting part provided surrounding the outside of the folded ring part. The folded ring part comprises two long-axis edges provided opposite each other, two short-axis edges provided opposite each other, and round corner parts connecting adjacent long-axis edges and short-axis edges. The folded ring part comprises a folded ring inner wall in proximity to the dome, a folded ring outer wall opposite the folded ring inner wall and connected to the connecting part, and a top wall connected to the folded ring inner wall and to the folded ring outer wall. The thickness of the folded ring outer wall located on the round corner parts is greater than the thickness of the folded ring inner wall located on the round corner parts; the thickness of the folded ring outer wall located on the long-axis edges is greater than the thickness of the folded ring inner wall located on the long-axis edges. The present utility model, with the thickness of the folded ring designed as thick on the outside and thin on the inside at round corners and the long-axis edges, increases the structural strength on the outside of the round corners and of the long-axis edges, thus improving on the problem of the outside being prone to folding when the diaphragm is vibrating vertically, and increasing acoustic performance.
