Abstract:
A die for extrusion molding a formed body, of which cross-sectional shape changes longitudinally, comprises a first die (10) and a second die (11), the first die (10) and the second die (11) being successively arranged in a direction of extrusion of a molding material such that a first extrusion hole (14) and a second extrusion hole (30) have respective web forming holes (16, 28) thereof communicate with each other and a flange forming hole (16, 27) of one of the dies is positioned on a side of a flange communicating hole (29, 17), and being provided movably relative to each other along the web forming holes (16, 28). The die for extrusion of variable cross section is used for extrusion molding a formed body, of which cross-sectional shape changes longitudinally, by moving the first die (10) and the second die (11) relative to each other while extruding the molding material toward the die for extrusion of variable cross section.
