Abstract:
A die steel having a high thermal diffusion coefficient, and a preparation method therefor. The die steel is prepared from the following components, in percentage by mass: C: 0.30-0.40%, Si: 0.05-0.10%, Mo: 2.50-3.40%, Nb: 0.01-0.05%, Co: 0.30-0.50%, RE: 0.01-0.05% and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities; and furthermore, in the die steel, P≤0.15%, and S≤0.025%. The preparation method for the die steel comprises the process steps of smelting, electroslag remelting, electroslag ingot annealing, forging, spheroidizing annealing, quenching and tempering which are performed in sequence. The die steel having an ultrahigh thermal conductivity can be obtained by adopting an appropriate proportion of chemical element components and reasonable process arrangement, and a die machined thereby has both good high-temperature performance and excellent comprehensive mechanical performance.
