Abstract:
A diene rubber comprising a conjugated diene polymer or a conjugated diene/aromatic vinyl copolymer having a quaternary ammonium group bearing four carbon atoms bonded to the nitrogen atom at least one end of the polymer chain which has an aromatic vinyl content of 0 to 60 wt.%, a content of vinyl linkages derived from the conjugated diene of 10 % or above and a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 100,000 to 2,000,000. This rubber is excellent in the prevention of heat build-up which serves as an indication of rolling resistance and in tensile strength, wear resistance and so on.
