Abstract:
The present invention relates to dieting and rehabilitation exercise equipment employing rocking, comprising: a base; a saddle provided above the base; a first rotational shaft and a second rotational shaft rotatably provided spaced apart from each other on the base; a drive-transmission part which connects the first rotational shaft and the second rotational shaft to each other, and which makes the first rotational shaft and the second rotational shaft rotate; and a motion-changing part for converting the rotational movement of the second rotational shaft into a liner reciprocating movement and thereby raising and lowering the saddle, which motion-changing part has a cam which is coupled to the second rotational shaft and the outer circumference of which is formed with a predetermined cam profile, and has a cam roller which makes contact with the outer circumference of the cam and rolls in a reciprocating movement following the rotation of the cam, and also has a saddle support which is rotatably coupled with the cam roller and which supports the saddle. This item of equipment not only trains the lower body muscles and allows for a dieting effect in that body fat is broken down, but also increases the exercise effect in that upper body muscle or waist exercises are performed at the same time, and the equipment can also be used for rehabilitation treatment of patients. Further, in use, the equipment can easily be matched to the body form of the user.
