A differential device which is provided with: an eccentric shaft (18) that is rotatable relatively to an input member (7) and is coupled to a first output shaft (11) while being eccentric from the central axis (X1); a first differential member (16) that is adjacent to the input member and is capable of revolving around the central axis while rotating on the eccentric shaft; and a second differential member (17) that is adjacent to the first differential member and coupled to a second output shaft (12). While a first hypocycloid groove (21) is formed in the input member, a first epicycloid groove (22) overlapping the first hypocycloid groove is formed in the first differential member, and a first transmission rolling body (23) is interposed in an overlapping portion of the first hypocycloid groove and the first epicycloid groove. Furthermore, while a second hypocycloid groove (24) is formed in the first differential member, a second epicycloid groove (25) overlapping the second hypocycloid groove is formed in the second differential member, and a second transmission rolling body (26) is interposed in an overlapping portion of the second hypocycloid groove and the second epicycloid groove. Thus, the differential device can distribute torque throughout each transmission member and be made in a compact size.
