Abstract:
The present invention relates to a differential heat treatment method for a forming roller, which can extend the lifetime of a forming roller and simultaneously improve productivity by differential heat treatment of the inner circumferential surface of the forming roller that has an inner circumferential surface requiring moderate strength and durability and an outer circumferential surface requiring high strength. The method comprises: an outer circumferential surface heat treatment step (S100) for heating the outer circumferential surfaces (21) of roller units (20) constituting a forming roller (10), in which heat treatment is carried out under conditions of a temperature of 1150-1200 ℃ for 25-35 minutes; a first natural cooling step (S200) for naturally cooling until the surface temperature reaches 100-150 ℃ after the outer circumferential surface heat treatment; an inner circumferential surface heat treatment step (S300) for heating the inner circumferential surfaces (22) of the roller units (20) after the natural cooling, in which heat treatment is carried out under conditions of a temperature of 680-730 ℃ for 35-45 minutes; a second cooling step (S400) for naturally cooling until the roller units (20) reach a room temperature state after the inner circumferential heat treatment; and an inspection and release step (S500) for inspecting the hardness of the outer circumferential surface and the inner circumferential surface after the second cooling, and releasing when the hardness is within an error range.
