Abstract:
A digital broadcast receiver (17) in which a control signal transmitting section (16) gives information representing which channel has been selected to a re−transmitter (14). A terrestrial broadcasting wave from a transmitting station is inputted into a channel selection filter (6) through a room receiving antenna (1) and an automatic gain controller (4) of the re−transmitter (14). Only the signal of a frequency component corresponding to the channel selected by the digital broadcast receiver (17) is extracted and transmitted to the digital broadcast receiver (17) through a variable−gain amplifier (7) by a re−transmitting room antenna (13).
