Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a digital receiver and a waveform compensation method in which waveform distortion can be compensated for without an increase in the size of the circuit. This digital receiver (100) is provided with: a distortion compensation filter (103) for compensating for waveform distortion contained in the input signal; a skew compensation amount setting unit (106) for setting the skew compensation amount used for compensation for the phase distortion component of the waveform distortion contained in the input signal; an amplitude compensation amount setting unit (107) for setting the amplitude compensation amount used for compensation for amplitude, which decays when the input signal is set with the skew compensation amount; and a filter coefficient computation circuit (108) for determining the filter coefficient to be set to the distortion compensation filter (103) on the basis of the skew compensation amount and the amplitude compensation amount.
