Abstract:
A Fourier transform unit (111) subjects the digital signal of a time axis to a Fourier transform, and generates a frequency domain signal which is the signal of the frequency axis. A filter unit (113) uses a number (N) of first coefficients, and equalizes the frequency domain signal in a frequency domain. An inverse Fourier transform unit (112) subjects the frequency domain signal processed by the filter unit (113) to an inverse Fourier transform, and returns the same to the digital signal of the time axis. In other words, the Fourier transform unit (111), the inverse Fourier transform unit (112) and the filter unit (113) compensate for the waveform distortion included in the digital signal by using frequency-domain equalization. A first-coefficient setting unit (114) uses a number (m) (N>m) of second coefficients, and sets the number (N) of first coefficients used by the filter unit (113).
