Abstract:
Provided are a dimming device (20), a control method thereof, and a display system (01), which relate to the display technology field, and can solve the problem of poor user experience due to the fixed display color gamut of a display device (10); the dimming device (20) comprises a dimming unit (200); the dimming unit (200) comprises: a color gamut conversion component (201) and a transmission assembly (202); the color gamut conversion component (201) is provided with a light absorption film (F), and the incident light in a first color gamut is adjusted to be a second color gamut after passing through the light absorption film (F); the second color gamut is different from the first color gamut; and the transmission assembly (202) is configured to control the dimming device (20) to emit the received incident light after passing through the light absorption film (F) in the color gamut conversion component (201).
