Abstract:
[Problem] To estimate the direction of a target object using a small number of wave receivers. [Solution] A direction of arrival estimation device provided with a first wave receiver 21 for forming a first beam directed in a first direction d1 and receiving a first reception wave as a reception wave resulting from the first beam, a second wave receiver 22 that is disposed in a different position than the first wave receiver 21 and is for forming a second beam directed in a second direction d2 different from the first direction d1 and receiving a second reception wave as a reception wave resulting from the second beam, and a direction of arrival estimation unit for estimating the directions of arrival of the reception waves on the basis of the wave reception delay of the first reception wave or second reception wave in relation to the other reception wave and the amplitude ratio of the first reception wave and second reception wave.
