Abstract:
This direction estimation device is characterized by comprising: a signal quality calculation unit for measuring or predicting the quality of signals received by using a plurality of antennas; an angle range setting unit for setting an angle range for estimating the arrival direction of the signals according to the signal quality measured or predicted by the signal quality calculation unit; and a direction estimation unit for estimating the arrival direction of the signals in the angle range set by the angle range setting unit. As a result of said configuration, it is possible to perform direction estimation in a wider angle range than in the prior art for signals having high signal quality among signals subject to direction estimation.
