Abstract:
The present invention relates to a direction-switching device for a rail-type walking assistance apparatus, the device being capable of switching a walking direction, and comprises: a base (10) provided on a plurality of first and second fixed rails (100, 102); a disc (20) provided on the base (10) to rotate in the horizontal direction; a center bracket (40) passing through the base (10) so as to be provided at the disc (20); a driving unit (70) provided at the base (10) to linearly move a carriage (72); a turning block (50) which is rotatably provided on the carriage (72), and in which a sliding hole (52) penetrates in the horizontal direction; a rod (60) which has a ring head (62) formed on one side thereof, which slides in the sliding hole (52), and of which the ring head (62) is fixed to the disc (20); and a rotary rail (90) which is provided on the center bracket (40), and of which the direction matches that of either the first fixed rail (100) or the second fixed rail (102).
