Abstract:
According to the present invention, an input reflection coefficient and a separation coefficient of a directional coupler are reduced. This directional coupler 1 is provided with: a first waveguide 31 and a second waveguide 32 which are disposed in parallel to each other with post lines 23, 24 therebetween; a coupling window 33 which is formed in the post lines 23, 24 and electromagnetically couples the first waveguide 31 and the second waveguide 32; and a protruding conductor 50 which, in the center of the coupling window 33 with respect to the width direction, protrudes toward the inside of the coupling window 33 from one conductive layer 13 among a pair of conductive layers 12, 13, for the first waveguide 31 and the second waveguide 32 respectively, and is spaced apart from the other conductive layer 12.
