DESCRIPTION

DISASSEMBLED BEDSTEAD IN THE SHAPE OF A HOUSE WITH PROTECTIVE SIDE CUSHIONS

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to a bedstead that can be used in babies’ and children’s rooms from the newborn period until adolescence and afterward, and that prevents injuries that may happen due to falling from bed, hitting bed rails, and the like, and that keeps children secure and protects them, and that can be utilized as a playground, and that also can be used in a disassembled state.

BACKGROUND ART

Currently, various types of bedsteads are designed for and utilized in babies’ and children’s rooms. Bars (bed rails) are employed in all bedsteads manufactured for children in an effort to keep them safe; however, these bars cause some risks such as hitting the bars, falling headlong from the top of bars, falling with legs or arms in between the bed rails, sprains or fractures as a result of such fall, and the like, and therefore pose danger for babies and children.

Children’s beds high off the ground, on the other hand, present a risk of falling from the bed at night while asleep, which is a nightmare for parents. There are also bedsteads with bars that may be elevated and lowered when needed so as to prevent children from falling from the bed; however, such bedsteads not only offer a higher distance if children roll out of bed but also cause the baby or the kid to wake up as it makes noise. Taking the kid from or laying him/her on the bed without lowering this bed rail, which is in the shape of a folding screen divider, becomes a non-ergonomic experience for parents and causes musculoskeletal disorders. When bedsteads that are made of pine trees and trees of similar type and are in the shape of a house are manufactured with simple screwing and bonding techniques and without bars, they cannot stand securely on their feet. For the bedstead to securely stand on its feet, profiles in the form of bed rails must be added to the back and sides of the bedstead. This situation creates safety problems and challenges for kids and leads to accidents at all ages although it provides a sound and robust bedstead structure.

Bedsteads that are currently in use are mounted by way of screwing or gluing or both, and such bedsteads cannot be demounted when needed or lose their durability and robustness due to deformations in screw and glue areas when demounted. In this case, moving out from a house, changing the room, storing the bedstead for another kid, and similar situations become a challenge for users. There are some endeavors in this area, and utility model numbered TR 2017/03310 mentions a product titled “Crib with protective bed rails and interior edges covered with fabric”. It is stated that the said product is a crib (baby bedstead) in which babies/kids sleep or spend time, and that includes a head part, a foot part, and minimum one side part that might be in the form of bed rails/bars, all of which are positioned around a bed board, and it is explained that in order to protect babies/kids from the harms and injuries that may be caused as a result of hitting hard surfaces, the said head part, foot part, and side parts (first side part, second side part, and moveable cover) contain parts covered with fabric that are joined with the mentioned parts through a connector in a way that will cover the interior surfaces of the head part, foot part, and side parts facing inside the crib.

Another utility model application numbered TR 2016/02968 describes a product titled “New generation bedstead for kids”, and it is said that the concerned invention relates to a bedstead that has a protection system that can be used without ruining the design to prevent bleeding and trauma as a result of accidents, as well as injuries, that might occur due to hitting hard surfaces of bedsteads manufactured for kids. Another utility model numbered TR 2015/02526 depicts a product titled “Structuring in a crib with a moveable bed rail”. It is indicated that the concerned invention relates to bed rails that move upwards and downwards on the shafts connected to lower holders and upper holders mounted underneath and onto the crib, and it is explained that the invention relates to bed rails containing a lock mechanism that makes a rotational motion from the central point that ensures the mentioned bed rail’s upright position by the edge of the said crib, connector that fixes the mentioned upper holder to the concerned crib, and the corresponding hole that is an element of the said connector to anchor and fix the relevant upper holder and lower holder to the related crib.

Another utility model application numbered TR 2005/03227 describes a product titled “Bed rail lift for cribs”. It is emphasized that the said product is composed of a bed rail lift for cribs that is produced to evenly distribute the weight of the bed rail on the whole surface, instead of a single point, without damaging the bedstead when the bed rail is pulled up, as well as two integral rails, i.e. upper rail and lower rail, that allow using the lock mechanism to lock the bed rail that moves on the rails when it is pulled up, and an automatic lock mechanism that is a part of the upper rail.

In conclusion, the need to eliminate the above-mentioned shortcomings and disadvantages of the prior art has necessitated a development in the relevant technical field. AIM OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a disassembled bedstead in the shape of a house with protective side cushions in order to remove the above-mentioned disadvantages and provide new advantages to the relevant technical field. The aim of the invention is to ensure that situations such as falling from bed, hitting bed rails, and being stuck in between the bed rails, as well as injuries resulting from such, are prevented, and that user safety is guaranteed. Another aim of the invention is to create a structure that allows the user to open the preferred side and that can be used for various purposes such as bed and playground. A further aim of the invention is to ensure that a demounted structure is created, thereby guaranteeing easy assembling and disassembling in case of moving out from a house, changing the room, and storing the bedstead for another kid.

Another aim of the invention is to eliminate loss of durability and robustness and visual deformation that occur during disassembling because of screwing and gluing processes that are experienced in currently available products, thanks to the development of a structure that is demounted and can be easily assembled and disassembled by way of bolting. Structural and characteristic features of the invention, as well as all of its advantages, will be understood more clearly with the figures given below and the detailed description written by referring to the relevant figures, and therefore, the evaluation should be made by taking into consideration of the said figures and detailed description.
