Abstract:
[Problem] To facilitate installation and repair after a fire, and to continuously maintain, without damaging the evacuation route, a blocking function even when a flame or radiant heat is received from a fire. [Solution] A disaster prevention device 10 is installed at an opening of a protected area boundary, for example, above an entrance/exit of a room, and when a fire breaks out, a sheet 12 is deployed so as to close the opening, cooling water such as fire extinguishing water is supplied to the sheet 12, the cooling water flows down from openings provided in various places of a coolant flow path 16 in the sheet 12 to form a cooling water infiltrated layer, a water film of the coolant is formed on the sheet surface, the sheet 12 is not burnt even when a flame or radiant heat from a fire is received, and flame-shielding property, smoke-shielding property, and heat-shielding property are ensured to the outside of the protected area where the fire has occurred.
