Abstract:
This discharge device discharges a combustion product, wherein: the discharge device is provided with an ignitor and a metal cup for forming an accommodation space for accommodating a pyrotechnic; a through-hole creating communication between the accommodation space and the exterior of the cup is formed in a bottom surface section of the cup, the through-hole being demarcated with a plurality of through-hole peripheral margins, and adjacent through-hole peripheral margins being connected to one another at a predetermined connection point; the through-hole has narrow-width sections where the width of the through-hole, demarcated by respective parts of two through-hole peripheral margins out of the plurality of through-hole peripheral margins, narrows going from the center of the bottom surface section toward the peripheral margin side; and the narrow-width sections are formed so as to be located closer to the peripheral margin side of the bottom surface section than a non-narrow-width section demarcated by other respective parts of said two through-hole peripheral margins. Due to this configuration, combustion product from the pyrotechnic can be properly discharged in desired directions to the side of the discharge device.
