Abstract:
A disconnection detection device which is for an onboard device equipped with a relay (1) that controls supplying of drive power for driving horns (10, 11) and a first wire harness (9a, 9b) that has one end connected to the relay with the other end connected to the horns and supplies the drive power from the relay to the horns, said disconnection detection device detecting disconnection of the first wire harness and being equipped with a second wire harness (16) that is routed along at least a portion of the first wire harness, a current circuit (13) that supplies a disconnection detection current to the second wire harness, and a disconnection determination circuit (14) that monitors an output voltage of the current circuit in order to determine whether or not a disconnection of the second wire harness is present. Disconnection of the first wire harness is detected on the basis of the disconnection determination made by the disconnection determination circuit.
