Abstract:
Provided is a novel method for controlling plant diseases that efficiently utilizes light energy and enables further downsizing of an irradiation device. The disease control method of the present invention is characterized by comprising irradiating the shoot apex part of a plant with near-infrared light. The irradiation area may, for example, be the vicinity of the shoot apex part including the shoot apex part.
