Abstract:
Disclosed are a dishwasher and a method for controlling the dishwasher, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The dishwasher may comprise: a first sensor for detecting whether a push bar for opening/closing a door deviates from a first reference point; a second sensor for detecting, on the basis of a second reference point that differs from the first reference point, a signal change according to the movement of the push bar; a third sensor for detecting, on the basis of a third reference point that differs from the second reference point, a signal change according to the movement of a moving member to which the push bar can be coupled; and a control unit for determining, on the basis of the detection result of at least one from among the first sensor, the second sensor and the third sensor, whether the door is opened/closed.
