Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dishwasher. A dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a case which forms the exterior and has one open surface; a tub which is positioned inside the case and forms a washing chamber accommodating objects to be washed, and has one open surface corresponding to the one open surface of the case; a cover panel forming the exterior; and an inner panel positioned inside the cover panel. The dishwasher includes: a door for opening and closing the one open surface of each of the case and the tub; a nozzle that is positioned inside the washing chamber and jets washing water to the objects to be washed; a sensor module that is positioned between the case and the tub or between the cover panel and the inner panel and senses the level of noise or vibration generated due to the washing water jetted through the nozzle; and a controller which receives the sensing result from the sensor module and compares the amplitude of the sensing result and a reference value to determine whether or not to restrict the nozzle.
