Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dishwasher, the dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention comprising: a washing tub in which an object to be washed is accommodated and washing water is sprayed; a sump which is arranged on the lower side of the washing tub and accommodates the washing water; a washing pump which is connected to the sump and squeezes out the washing water accommodated in the sump toward the washing tub; a spray nozzle which supplies the washing water squeezed out from the washing pump into the washing tub; and a heater which is arranged to be connected to each of the washing pump and the spray nozzle and has, formed therein, a heating space in which the washing water flows, an inlet through which the washing water flows into the heating space, and an outlet through which the washing water is discharged from the heating space, wherein the heater comprises: a first guide which is extended from the inlet toward the outlet; and a second guide which is extended from the outlet toward the inlet and is spaced apart from the first guide so that the flow stream of the washing water is adjusted through the guides to equalize the flow rate and the pressure distribution inside the heater and around the heater, and thus, there is an advantage of improving the efficiency of transferring heat to the washing water that flows in front of and behind the heater.
