Abstract:

A disk apparatus includes a movable drive plate (101) and directly permits an encased recording medium disk loading mechanism having an MD holder drawing arm (108) and a slit constituent member (125) to draw an MD (107) in the apparatus and place the MD (107) on a turntable (131) and further permits a non-encased recording medium disk loading mechanism having a CD clamper (104) and a CD adapter (106) to move to an inner place not to interfere with the placement of the MD (107) on the turntable (131).
