Abstract:
In this disk brake device (10), a pair of brake pads (48L, 48R) respectively comprise friction materials (58L, 58R) and rear plates (60L, 60R). At least a part of a retainer (72) is provided on a radially outer side of a brake disk (16) with respect to each of the friction materials (58L, 58R). In addition, at least a part of the retainer (72) is provided at substantially the same height as each of the rear plates (60L, 60R) and at substantially the same position in the circumferential direction (C) of the brake disk (16).
