Abstract:
The present invention provides a dispensing device that discharges foam in a branch passage in a short amount of time and prevents dripping of a liquid leaking from an end of a sensor chip due to an unanticipated abnormal load. This dispensing device is characterized by including: a nozzle that suctions or dispenses a sample; a sample dispensing mechanism that moves the nozzle; an arm installed on the sample dispensing mechanism; a pressure sensor installed inside the sample dispensing mechanism or inside the arm; and a piping that passes through the inside of the sample dispensing mechanism and the inside of the arm and through which a liquid flows. The dispensing device is also characterized in that the pressure sensor includes: a cylinder having inside therein a flow passage and a branch passage, with both ends of the flow passage being connected to the piping, and the branch passage branching from the flow passage such that a branching direction thereof is downward in the gravitational direction; a sensor chip installed at a distal end of the branch passage; and a liquid receiving part installed so as to cover the periphery of the sensor chip.
