Abstract:
A displacement detection device comprises a self-position detector for detecting the relative position and orientation of the device relative to a preset reference position and reference orientation, displacement in a top surface reference point and side surface reference point of the rail relative to a preset reference position of the rail are calculated by an optical cutting method from image data of the surface of a photographed rail, and the calculated rail displacement is corrected using data obtained by the self-position detector, whereby errors caused by deviation in the position and orientation of the device that occur as the vehicle travels can be rectified, the device has excellent ease of maintenance, and measurement errors can be made improbable.
