Abstract:
Disclosed is a data processor (10) for a display apparatus. The display apparatus comprises a display panel (20) with a first resolution. The data processor (10) comprises a first mode selector (100) and a player (200), wherein the first mode selector (100) comprises a distance detector (110), a comparator (120) and a transmission resolution regulator (130); the distance detector (110) detects the current distance between a viewer and a display face of the display panel (20); the comparator (120) determines a variation in the current distance relative to a previous distance; the transmission resolution regulator (130) determines a second resolution according to a threshold range of the previous distance and the variation; and the player (200) processes received external image data into intermediate data with the second resolution.
