Abstract:
A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus comprises: a display panel including a plurality of pixels; a driving unit that drives the display panel; and one or more processors. The processor may obtain sound location information on the basis of multi-channel information included in audio content when content including video content and the audio content is received, identify one region of the video content corresponding to the obtained sound location information, and cause the driving unit to adjust the brightness of pixels included in the identified one region.
