Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display assembly (1) for use in the user-interface (2) of a household appliance (3). The display assembly (1) comprises an information display (4) which has a light emitting unit (5) and a protective cover (6). The display assembly (1) of the present invention comprises a sealing member (7) for circunnferentially sealing the interface between the display (4) and the cover (6). The display (4) comprises an upper surface (8) which includes a first section (8a) that abuts against the rear surface (7a) of the sealing member (7) and a second section (8b) that surrounds the light emitting unit (5).
