Abstract:
The present invention improves the visibility of display information of a display device without changing the display layout of the display device mounted on a vehicle as much as possible. This display assistance device (101) comprises: an information acquisition unit (11) which acquires driver information indicating the position of the driver's eyes, and vehicle information indicating the shape and position of a steering wheel (42) and the shape and position of a display device (21) mounted at the position facing the driver via the steering wheel (42); a blind spot area determination unit (12) which determines a blind spot area for the driver caused by the steering wheel (42) on the basis of the driver information and the vehicle information; a visibility determination unit (13) which calculates the overlapping area in which the display information of the display device overlaps with the blind spot area; and a correction unit (14) which corrects at least one among the position and angle of an in-vehicle apparatus (22) such that the overlapping area is reduced.
